OUTSIDER x TIFF

Two Outsider projects will world premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. John Gallagher co-edited Swan Song a feature film directed by Chelsea McMullan and executive produced by Neve Campbell, premiering at TIFF on September 9th. John edited the extended four-part limited CBC TV series coming this fall, offering an inside look at the National Ballet of Canada’s 2022 production of Swan Lake, choreographed for the first time by the company’s artistic director, Karen Kain.

‘Xie Xie, Ollie’ edited by Calum Moore and directed by James Michael Chiang was selected to join the Short Cuts 2023 Programme 06, screening September 12th and 16th. The short follows a biracial man who uncovers difficulties and complications in his attempts to connect with his Chinese background.
